10 Pink Spartans have signed up for the Great Eastern 5 km Walk
The Great Eastern Women’s Run, commissioned by Great Eastern and organised by HiVelocity Events, is a run for every woman. The race features 5 km, 10 km as well as 21 km race distances making the run accessible to female runners of all levels. This will be the first women-only half marathon in the region.

The inaugural 1st INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FEDERATION (IDBF) CANCER SURVIVORS WORLD CUP 2011 held in conjunction with MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL (MIDBF) will be hosted at the Putrajaya Water Sports Complex from 20th to 23rd October 2011.
A world class event with a noble cause, this event is organized by W.P Putrajaya Dragon Boat Association and Mega Events Sdn. Bhd. In collaboration with Ministry of Youth & Sports, Ministry of Federal Territories & Urban Wellbeing, Ministry of Tourism, Perbandanan Putrajaya, participants, corporate players, investors, spectators, tourists and dragon boat associations and federations from all over the world.

This year’s race will have 8 race categories ranging from individual GRC races to women’s race and also Active Ager race. For the first time ever in the Dragon Boat Championship held in Singapore , there will be an Inter GRC Team Relay category race where 9 dragon boats (3 each from each GRC) to race in a relay for the Inter GRC Team Relay Challenge Trophy.
